Every business, every person, every community has a story - you just have to find the right way to tell it. I excel in documentary filmmaking, I believe that through emotional storytelling you can captivate your audience into taking action. My first award-winning film was created in 2022, and since then I have created numerous documentaries, winning awards in major film festivals across the country. Through filmmaking, I have worked with some of the top brands and businesses in the world, including YETI, Costa Sunglasses, Orvis, Compass Realty, and many more.

Advertising in 2024

Before social media existed, small businesses would have to give up an arm and a leg in order to produce solid commercial for television advertising. With the rise of social media, small businesses across the globe are able to have their voices heard. Think of it this way, when your favorite show goes to commercial break, what is your next move? Yes, some still enjoy classic commercial ads that keep them mildly entertained. However, most individuals turn to their cellular devices to stay entertained and to stay informed. That is where social media advertising comes into play. A recent study by LYFE marketing takes a look at CPI, or cost per impressions. In this study, they reveal that social media advertising is a little over nine times cheaper to produce than broadcast commercials. The goal of advertising is to reach the most amount of people for the least amount of money. In this new wave of social media, this enables businesses with small marketing budgets to compete with large corporations through social media advertising.

Video Production and Social Media

Now, what makes videos so much better than your average photo ad on Instagram? According to news whip, “While the average engagements for photos have increased by 46.4 percent, the average engagements for video posts have increased by 53 percent, showing that engagement growth for video is outpacing photos.” As you can see, although photos are still the number one way to engage audiences, social media video production is rapidly increasing and quickly reaching the same level as photo production. Furthermore, most people on social media have this desire of going “viral.” Newswhip goes on to say that you have a way higher chance of going viral by producing solid video production rather than photos. Engaging videography can stick to an audience more than a photo, and a social media platform that has all of the above have an even higher likelihood of going viral and becoming a big brand through social media.
